Rated 3 out of 5 by from Know Your Baby I bought this before I gave birth and my suggestion is wait until you know your baby. My baby runs ultra hot and sweats easily. The material used to make the NuRoo does not breath and holds the baby extremely close to your body (as a side note the fabric also "pills" easily so after a couple uses and one wash is is already showing wear). Maybe if i had bought in the winter it would have turned out better for us but as it is the NuRoo will get no use in our house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for long walks and hiking I'm a super active mama and I took this product out for a spin on a 3 mile hike. My boy was about 8 weeks and nearly 14lbs and the nuroo pocket kept up. The belt helped keep him in place and support my back. I use it around the house when I need to be hands free for house work also! My favorite part is how easy it is to put on. Totally recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it! I bought this for skin to skin with my little girl and she loves it which makes me love it as well! She was born a little early so she's kind of small but the shirt is adjustable and I can make it so she's nice and snug and she'll fall asleep on my chest after every feeding. the shirt is made of breathable material which is a plus because I live out in the desert and it gets to be 125 out here. The length is great as well because I hate when shirts don't go a little past my zipper. It runs true to size, I am 5'2 and my pre-pregnancy weight was 115 and my post pregnancy weight is 155 I ordered the small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baby wearing made easy! As I write this review, my one month old is snoring in my pocket shirt. My baby loves to be held, almost full time, and mama's arms get tired! When I'm around the house, this shirt is the quickest, easiest thing to throw on to keep her close to me and have my arms free. She might fuss for a moment or two but I rock back and forth and she falls asleep pretty quickly! Definitely faster than if she was just in my arms! It's been awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Product! I saw this at an exhibit at a conference and LOVED it so I recently sent it to a relative with a newborn in the NICU. I have not personally used one, but from what I can tell, it is an outstanding product. A fantastic idea that allows mother's to maintain their modesty and comfortably support their baby through kangaroo care. Brilliant!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Love our pocket! So simple to put on and allows my hands to be free for my other kiddos while still being close to the baby. I also love that you don't carry the weight in your shoulders like other carries do. Amazing invention and definitely a must have from day one. 🙂

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my NuRoo! I was given the NuRoo after I had my second child after discovering the NuRoo by the time my first daughter was 6 months old, it is by far the best baby wearing material I've ever worn! I love how my daughter can snuggle up next to me getting that amazin skin to skin contact we both crave while enjoying the comfort of having my hands free to enjoy life with our oldest daughter or to do some simple light cleaning! coming from someone who suffered from mild depression after giving birth I can honestly say that the NuRoo helped me significantly by helping me wear my newborn on a daily basis allowing our bond to become the amazing thing that it is to this day. I've worn the moby wrap, my tai, and infintino carrier and nothing beats this beautifully crafted carrier. I'll be getting a NuRoo for every future pregnancy!

Hi there, my pre pregnancy size was the boarder between medium and large. Does your shirt run small? Which size do you believe I should purchase?

Asked by: Garfield81
Hi! Our shirt is made to fit snug to be able to support you + baby properly for skin to skin contact. It should not fit loose or baggy. That said, without knowing your exact measurements, we'd recommend you go with the Medium. If you find it's too small and you can't properly close the the fasteners on their respective landing pads, just let us know and you can exchange it for the Large. Let us know if you have any other questions and thanks so much for reaching out!

My baby was four months old. Allowed to use it?

Asked by: Hychen
Hi + thanks for reaching out! Yes, absolutely! The Pocket adheres to the sling/carrier standards, which means it has been approved for use up to 45 pounds. That said, most babies hit a developmental point where they no longer want to be held closely skin to skin, and are more interested in the world around them. This happens at a different stage for every baby though, so you really have to see when your baby is ready to move on to another kind of carrier. Cheers!

Does the Nuroo pocket work for twins as well?

Asked by: JessHerod
Hi! Yes, the Pocket works for twins! However, we recommend one baby in the Pocket at a time when you're standing and hands free. When you're seated, both babies can snuggle up in there with you at the same time… which is the sweetest thing ever!

Hello! I am right between a size small and medium according to your chart. Is it better to go up a size? or down a size?

Asked by: michellec
Good question! Because the Pocket is meant to fit snugly to support you + baby and keep baby properly positioned for skin to skin contact, it's best to get the size small in your case. Also, our material is stretchy, and there is a wide landing pad for the Velcro, so you should be ok. BUT, if not, have no fear, just let us know and you can send it back and get the medium, no problem. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way and thanks so much for reaching out!

Hi. Could I fit twins in a shirt if they aren't premie? Our girls will most likely be on the smaller size. My pre-pregnancy size is 125 lbs and 32DDD. I'm 5'4" if that makes a difference.

Asked by: Mary
Hi + Congratulations on your girls! That's a difficult question to answer without knowing the size of your babies. That said, the Pocket does adhere to the sling/carrier standards, which means it's been tested up to 45 pounds, so you should be able to fit your girls. Please note that when standing on your feet, hands free, we recommend only one babe at a time. However, when you're seated, all three of you can snuggle in the Pocket at once!

Hi! I am looking for something, like a carrier, that you can slip on and off easily, while playing with your toddler, for when the baby needs to snuggle. Can I use the Nuroo for that purpose over other clothing?

Asked by: pca1
Hi! Our NuRoo Pocket is super easy to get on and off — just goes on like a shirt. You can absolutely wear it over other clothing, like a tank top or a tshirt! However, you wouldn't want to wear much more than one thing layer under it as it's made to be form fitting to support you + baby. Hope this helps!

Hi there. Just wondering if it is possible to ship to Newfoundland, Canada? If so, could you give me a rough estimation on cost? I would really love to try your product but seemingly can't find any of your retailers that will ship to my part of Canada.

Asked by: hai_midge
Hi! Yes, absolutely. We'll be in touch directly to let you know an estimate!

Hi! I'm looking for a carrier for my premature baby but have no luck finding one for his weight. What is the minimum weight requirement for the nuroo? Thank you!

Asked by: 50s_doll
Hi! Congratulations on your babe and thanks so much for reaching out to us! Our Pocket would be a perfect first carrier for your preemie! There is no minimum weight requirement for using it. Rather, the only requirement is that your baby has been cleared for skin to skin contact by your provider. So long as baby is ready for skin to skin contact, they are ready for the Pocket! We're proud to say that mom + dads have safely snuggled even the tiniest of babes in the Pocket. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
