Hi. Could I fit twins in a shirt if they aren't premie? Our girls will most likely be on the smaller size. My pre-pregnancy size is 125 lbs and 32DDD. I'm 5'4" if that makes a difference.

Asked by: Mary
Hi + Congratulations on your girls! That's a difficult question to answer without knowing the size of your babies. That said, the Pocket does adhere to the sling/carrier standards, which means it's been tested up to 45 pounds, so you should be able to fit your girls. Please note that when standing on your feet, hands free, we recommend only one babe at a time. However, when you're seated, all three of you can snuggle in the Pocket at once!

Hi! I am looking for something, like a carrier, that you can slip on and off easily, while playing with your toddler, for when the baby needs to snuggle. Can I use the Nuroo for that purpose over other clothing?

Asked by: pca1
Hi! Our NuRoo Pocket is super easy to get on and off — just goes on like a shirt. You can absolutely wear it over other clothing, like a tank top or a tshirt! However, you wouldn't want to wear much more than one thing layer under it as it's made to be form fitting to support you + baby. Hope this helps!

Hi there. Just wondering if it is possible to ship to Newfoundland, Canada? If so, could you give me a rough estimation on cost? I would really love to try your product but seemingly can't find any of your retailers that will ship to my part of Canada.

Hi! Yes, absolutely. We'll be in touch directly to let you know an estimate!

Hi! I'm looking for a carrier for my premature baby but have no luck finding one for his weight. What is the minimum weight requirement for the nuroo? Thank you!

Asked by: 50s_doll
Hi! Congratulations on your babe and thanks so much for reaching out to us! Our Pocket would be a perfect first carrier for your preemie! There is no minimum weight requirement for using it. Rather, the only requirement is that your baby has been cleared for skin to skin contact by your provider. So long as baby is ready for skin to skin contact, they are ready for the Pocket! We're proud to say that mom + dads have safely snuggled even the tiniest of babes in the Pocket. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Where's the sizing chart for guys/dads? My wife and I saw this demonstrated at a hospital birth class and want to get two – his & hers. What size is right if I wear a men's M? And am I really the only guy excited for skin to skin?

Asked by: The Dude
Hey The Dude, We LOVE this question! So terrific that you guys saw this at your hospital birth class and even more awesome that you want a his + hers! I'm guessing that you'd want our L/XL. But if you find that it's not the right size, we will always do an exchange for you. And no, you're definitely not the only guy excited for skin to skin! We see lots of dads doing it and it's magical! This is a recent post we shared on our feed with a dad in the Pocket. https://www.instagram.com/p/BEXLFVfTeGQ/?taken-by=nuroobaby So rad, right? Thanks for reaching out and congrats to you and your family!

My baby is loving my shirt but the belt is a little too short for my belly right now. Is there a way to extend it safely?

Asked by: Casey
So happy to hear your baby is loving the Pocket! Yay! There isn't a safe way to extend the belt, however, you can purchase another size belt separately for if you'd like. If that's what you'd like to do, please send an email to hello@nuroobaby.com and we'll get it all squared away for you!

Is there a minimum weight for baby to be worn safely in this?

Asked by: Kellie6234
Hi and thanks for asking! We’re proud to say that even the smallest of babies are safely worn in the Pocket. As soon as your little one is cleared for skin-to-skin contact, you may begin using the Pocket. For our smallest babies, who are tethered to lines and tubes, you need not place them inside the interior pocket as you will only be practicing skin-to-skin while seated. You can simply wrap and secure the two outer panels around you and baby for coverage. Once they have outgrown the need for monitors, you are ready to use the shirt as a carrier and should always place baby in the interior pocket when wearing them! Please let us know if we can provide you with any additional information. Always here to help!

Please help! Bought this shirt for my premie, now one month old baby. Bonding was interrupted due to time in the NICU so I really think this could help us, but I am not sure I have the correct size and can't seem to find how to nurse with it. Thanks!

Asked by: Jessica
Hi Jessica! Congrats on your sweet one! You're absolutely right — the Pocket is wonderful for promoting bonding and "feel-good" hormones between the two of you! In terms of sizing, it should fit quite snug so that it supports and holds baby securely in place. You don't want it to fit loosely as the material is made to hold baby close to your body, which gives them that secure, snuggly feeling and recreates the "womb-like" atmosphere they are so used to. If you have baby in the shirt and baby is not held tight to your chest, your Pocket is too big. Just let us know and we can exchange it for you if that's the case! In regards to nursing baby in it, it just takes a bit of practice. Try it while seated first to get the hang of it. Lift your breast and guide baby to latch. The wide interior pocket should provide plenty of room to angle baby to either side. Let us know how it goes and if you need any additional help, don't hesitate to call or email again!
